Jim joined Colliers Ostendorf-Morris’ Real Estate Management Services (REMS) group in 1999. Appointed as The Building Manager of the IMG Center (The World Headquarters of International Management Group), IMG Center Parking Garage and The Lincoln Building. After the sale of these properties for the client in September of 2002, Jim was promoted to General Manager of the B.F. Keith Building Complex which houses Cleveland’s historic Palace Theater.
With over twenty-one years of documented accomplishments in the real estate and commercial construction industries, Jim has specialized in the restoration, renovation, tenant build-out and new construction of major projects with repeat business for premier commercial, institutional, industrial, and hospitality property owners and tenants. In his current role, Jim has managed a major 500,000 square foot multi-use group of buildings in the Cleveland, Ohio Central Business District. In addition to the management of a $3.5 million operating budget, this assignment has offered opportunities involving over $16 million in demolition, abatement, complete build-out and F.F.&E. and relocation services of 95,000 square feet. of occupied space, on or before schedule and budget. Prior to joining Colliers Ostendorf-Morris, Jim was responsible for estimating, managing and directing over twenty five million dollars in projects per annum for Fortune 100 companies in ten states. Noteworthy projects include…The World Headquarters Buildings of Astra-Zeneca, Pharmacia-Upjohn, Merk, and Glaxo/Smith-Kline, 19 department stores for The May Design & Construction Co. including Lord & Taylor, The May Co., Kaufmann’s, Hecht’s, and one of three major May D&C MIS Data Centers, Barrington Golf Club “A Signature Jack Nicklaus Golf Course”, The Sheraton Cleveland City Centre Hotel, and repeated major tenant build-outs for Owner’s Groups including Gerald D. Hines Interests, Rubloff, Grubb & Ellis, Heitman Ohio, The Richard E. Jacobs Group, IBM and Ford Motor Company.
